Thermo Scientific IRMS MAT 253 with Multi collector Installed 2008 (Cutting Edge Research grant, MHRD XI Plan)

The IRMS MAT 253 with Multi collector is dedicated for CO2 clumped isotope reserach. This is attaccahed with a peripheral “Gas bench” for analysis of oxygen and hydrogen isotopes in water and vapour samples (in liquid state).

Usage Charges:

Charges will be levied on per sample basis. IISc Users: Rs. 5000 per sample for carbonate clumped isotopes and stable isotope ratio, Rs. 1000 per samples for water oxygen and deuterium ratio determination. Non IISc academic users: Rs. 80000 per sample for carbonate clumped isotopes and stable isotope ratio, Rs. 1500 per samples or water oxygen and deuterium ratio determination. Non academic users: Rs. 100000 per sample for carbonate clumped isotopes and stable isotope ratio, Rs. 2500 per samples or water oxygen and deuterium ratio determination. Taxes applicable as per GoI norm.
