Sanket is a full-time Ph.D. scholar in the Centre for Earth Sciences at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc). He has obtained a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree in Civil Engineering with honors in Structures from the College of Engineering, Pune (CoEP). He has a keen interest in the seismic design of structures. He loves to find applications of different methods to build an earthquake-resistant structure and enjoys developing new techniques and algorithms related to distributed acoustics sensing, seismic invisibility cloaking, and machine learning.
